Heirloom Gardening at the Library
Foster Libraries will be having their Heirloom and Rare Plant Sale again this year. It will be held on Saturday May28 9:00am - 1:00am, and Monday May 30 8:00am - 12:00pm. This is Memorial Day Weekend. Stop by and see us before or after the parade. Some favorite from last year will be back as well as many new varieties. We want to make this season a success, and also a fun experience for all. This blog will offer different types of information relating to gardening. Some of the information covered will be: Gardening tips , The History of the Seed Industry , (and how important it was to the development of this country), Dealing with Garden Pests, (including web sights to help identify your insect), and much more. We will be post a list all of the plants that will be for sale with a write up about each one, and how to grow then, for the new comers . Check the library blog for updates.
